Complete interior renovation and expansion of an existing house over looking Lake Arrowhead in the Angeles National Forest. This unusual project was a design exercise in using nine exotic woods that the owners had purchased from around the world for one of his hobby businesses – collecting and selling exotic woods. The woods used were Cocobolo, Stump Hickory, Peruvian Walnut, Big Leaf Maple, Honduran Mahogany, Palm, and Jatoba. The lighting fixtures were designed and artfully crafted by Valerie Strathatos.
